我兮老父娘奶。我兮老父娘奶都是莆田儂。

1988年伊輩經過媒儂兮介紹，伊輩互相認識。

過幾工以後，伊輩結婚咯。

許時頭我厝老父佮我厝阿嬤兮聘金呮幾百。

下聘的礼品中有一家凤凰的脚车

我们那里的风俗是这样的

在媒人的介绍以后

如果大家都高兴，两个人都感觉对方是合适的

结果下聘、订婚、结婚通常会在一周至两周结束

最后，花几百钱，买了一个只会挑泔水的。

我的父亲母亲，我的父亲母亲都是莆田人

1988年，有一天经过媒婆的介绍，他们互相认识

过几天之后，他们结婚了

那时候我的爸爸给外婆的聘金只有几百

下聘的礼品中有一架凤凰的单车

我们那里的风俗是这样的，

在媒婆的介绍以后，

如果大家都欢喜，两个人都感觉对方是合适的，

结果下聘、订婚、结婚通常会在一周至两周结束。

但是，这种婚姻有坏也有好，

刚开始时候他们互相认识不深，

以后了解了，两个人就分不开

就像我的父亲母亲。有一次我的父亲给我们讲他们结婚以前

在山里他看到她正在挑泔水，感觉这么厉害

心里想，这样的特别适合做老婆。

我的母亲听后讲，你还说，当时我挑的泔水特别臭，

也不知你经过我的时候，是泔水臭的原因还是你觉得害羞，

不敢看我，头一直低低的，差一点跌倒。

我的父亲讲，是呀是呀，都是你的泔水给熏的，害我的眼睛瞎了，

最后，花几百钱，只买了一个特别会挑泔水的。

我的母亲说，挑泔水怎么了，我还可一边挑泔水，一边

煮地瓜粥。你的孩子就是这样一泡尿一泡屎喂着长大的。

我听了，一脸黑线，说，我肯定不是你们亲生的。

他们以前还是现在也会吵架，去年，因为我的弟弟高考分数

不上不下，他们为了报考志愿讲来讲去

高考志愿关系到我的弟弟的以后工作

还有今年，从我的妹妹相亲到最后结婚，他们也是吵架一直不停。

第一次做岳父、岳母，

也为了我的妹妹的以后的家庭。

但是，吵架最后通常变成笑话，

有时候我们还想不起来为什么吵架。可能，这就是生活。

My father and mother....My father and mother are both from Putian.

They met each other after a matchmaker‘s introduction in 1988.

After a few days,they got married.

My father only gave several hundred yuan as a dowry to my grandmother at that time.

There was a bicycle of Phoenix in the bride price.

This is how our custom works:

After the introduction of a matchmaker,

if everyone is satisfied and both think each other is suitable,

then the giving of bride price,engagement and marriage would usually finish within one or two weeks.

But this kind of marriage has two sides.

At first they don’t know each other well.

But after they know each other,they can’t be separated.

Just like my father and mother.Once my father told us that before they got married,

he saw her carrying swill in the mountain,and thought she was so powerful

and it was good to have her.

My mother heard this and said:Fool you,the swill was quite smelly,

and when you passed by me,I dont know it‘s the swill or you just felt shy,

you didnt rise your head to look at me,which made you almost fall down.

My father said:Yep! It‘s all your swill‘s fault,it made me blind.

And at the end I spent several hundred yuan in buying a girl who was good at carrying swill.

My mother argued:what‘s wrong with my carrying swill! I can do it and

make sweet potato porridge.Your child was brought up with both swill and porridge.

I heard this,feeling embarrassed,said:You cant be my natural parents.

Theyve always been arguing.Last year,my young brother got a score which was

not good neither bad,they argued a lot about which uni to choose.

This concerned about my brother‘s future.

And this year,they kept quarrelling throughtout my young sister‘s blind date and her marriage.

They became father and mother in law for the first time.

it‘s also for my sister‘s future.

But these fights usually became jokes.

Sometimes we cant even remember why to fight.Maybe this is life.
