In 1980, our family moved to a house on the east side of Xishan Park and south of the experimental oil plant.
At that time, I was in second grade at Xia Shi No. 3 Elementary School.

在1980年的时候，我们家搬到了西山公园东面、实验油厂南面的一栋房子，那个时候我在硖石三小读二年级。到了读四年级的时候，我又转到二小去了。1983年下半年，我到硖石中学开始读初中，因为我们学校就在西山脚下，所以说我们也叫它西山中学。现在回想起来，读初一、初二的时候是很开心的。读书并不紧张，作业做好了就可以去玩，看《霍元甲》、《射雕英雄传》这种香港武打连续剧，劲头很足。有时候礼拜日还和同学们一起骑自行车去乡下玩。我有个同桌叫金阿三，他家住在硖石北面的双山乡，我们经常去他家玩的。高中我在海宁一中读。1989年夏天，我们家又搬到了白漾新村，不久我就去武汉读大学了。1993年，我到离硖石50公里之外的平湖去工作了，回到硖石的时间就少了，基本上个把月回来个一趟。再到后来，我在平湖成家之后，基本上就难得回硖石了。这几年回来看看，硖石变化大得很。要么是搞房地产，要么是旧城改造，我原来读过书的三小、硖石中学、海宁一中，全部拆光了，一点影子都找不到了。再过几年，杭州的城市轻轨要通到硖石来了，这样硖石又要热闹起来了。
