亻厓在新竹縣竹東鎮出世，

一直到嫁人之前，都毋識離開吾个故鄉。

雖然，從細就在紅毛泥粉竇搞到大，

因為，吾屋下對面就係紅毛泥廠，所以，

吾屋下從來毋識會漏水，屋蓋頂都泥粉冫疑核核，

窗門乜毋識打開啊!阿爸又好種花花草草，

所以，該葉仔毋識係青青，全係白个。

細个時節，無麼个好搞，就會拿葉仔來扌寸，

試著還好搞喔!一等記得，

逐擺開里民大會个時節，阿姆當好渡吾去，

紅毛泥廠都會派上頭个人來開會，

吾兜戴就近个人會抗議恁屙糟，

泥粉磅磅飛，目珠根本打毋開，

毋過，該下民意吂探頭，

佢兜應一句”係你兜先來也係吾兜\"

因為，水泥廠係日據時代就有了!

該央時聽著還閼人喔!

吾細个時節當驚阿爸，

雖然，吾係吊尾錘，毋過吾兜係毋聽話，

阿爸閼起來就會喊去罰跪仔，

因為，吾屋下戴河壩脣頭，阿爸長透仔講，

河壩項輒識有人浸死過，

喊吾兜毋好去搞水，阿爸成下仔三不五時會轉來巡。

記得有一擺，吾跈阿哥、阿姐偷偷仔共下去搞水，

分阿爸捉著，吂知全部都在門脣罰跪仔，

阿哥擎水桶，阿姐摎無擎凳板，

隔壁鄰舍个細人仔圍等一群緊看，

害吾兜久久毋敢了!做風搓个時節，

係爺哀最愁慮个。因為大水會浸入屋肚，

但也係吾兜做細人最歡喜个，因為做得撈當多魚仔摎毛蟹、蝦公，

還做得搞水，正經係屙屎捉(扌也)鹹菜，一舉兩得，

該下正經毋知漦鼻乜毋知好驚喔!

講著頭擺讀書个時節，去學校做毋得講客話，

因為先生準備一隻牌仔，

頂背寫”請講國語”害吾兜毋敢講客語，

因為講三擺就愛罰錢摎吊牌仔，

所以用諧音來寫代表講，還有先生分位仔，細倈仔摎細妹仔共下坐，

桌仔中央就會畫一條線，係麼儕超過就愛摎對方擦桌仔，

吂知細倈仔當狡猾，長透仔偷偷會用粉筆重劃；

還有下課个時節，摎吾當好个同學，有一擺佢身頂斯diong一个銀

這下想起來，該滋味

吾還記得呢!三十零年過了，

完全顛倒，這下細人仔全毋會講客話，河壩肚

乜無魚蝦、毛蟹，乜無一个銀个枝仔冰咧!連紅毛泥廠也徙走咧!

這下吾乜做人个飠甫娘摎阿姆了。想起細个時節，分吾

當多个懷念，麼个東西都做得改變，

但係吾最愁慮就係連吾講个母語---客家話

海陸腔就會搣忒了，所以吾辭忒頭路，

全心全意加入本土語言，客語

教學个行列，盡吾一分力量，

傳承爺哀講个話語。

這係吾這代人，

應該愛盡个義務，乜係一份愛傳承个責任。

我是新竹縣竹東鎮出生，

一直到結婚之前，都不曾離開我的故鄉。

雖然，我從小在水泥廠玩到大，

因為，我家的對面就是水泥廠，所以，

我的家從來不會漏水，屋蓋頂都是水泥粉覆蓋著，

窗戶也不曾打開啊!父親喜歡種花草，

所以，葉子未曾是綠色，都是白的。

小時候，沒有甚麼可玩，就會拿葉子來搓，

覺得很好玩哦!最記得，

每回開里民大會的時候，母親喜歡帶我去，

水泥廠都會派上頭的長官來開會，

我們住在附近的人，就會抗議這麼骯髒，

水泥粉末滿天飛，眼睛根本打不開，

不過，那時民意未被重視，

他們說一句\"是你們先來還是我們\"

因為，水泥廠是日據時代就有了!

那時候，聽到很氣人!

我小時候很怕父親，

雖然，我是排行最小的，要是我不聽話，

父親發起脾氣就會叫我去罰跪，

因為，我家住在河壩旁邊，父親常說，

河壩時常有人被淹死，

交代我們不可以去玩水，父親有時候會回來巡邏。

記得有一次，我跟哥哥姐姐偷偷一起去玩水，

被父親捉到，全部都在門口邊罰跪，

哥哥扛水桶，姐姐和我扛板凳，

左右鄰居的小朋友整群圍著一直看，害我們久久就不敢了!

是父母親最操心的。因為大雨會淹到家中，

但也是我們小孩最喜歡的，因為，可以撈很多魚、螃蟹、蝦子，

還可以玩水，真的是痾屎抓鹹菜，一舉兩得，

那時真的是不知天高地厚，也不知到可以害怕!

說到以前讀書的時候，去學校不可以講客家話，

因為老師準備一個牌子，

上面寫\"請講國語\"害我們不敢講ˋ客家話，

因為，講三次就要被罰錢並且要吊牌子，

所以用諧音來寫代表講，還有老師分座位，男生和女生一起坐，

桌子中間就會畫一條線，谁超過就要幫對方擦桌子，

怎知男生很狡猾，經常偷偷地用粉筆重劃；

還有下課的時候，和我最好的同學，

有一次他身上只剩下一元

就買一枝清冰，我們一起坐在樹下吃那枝冰棒，

現在想起來，那滋味

我猶記得呢!三十多年了，

完全顛倒，現代小孩都不會講客家話，河壩裡

也沒魚蝦、螃蟹，也沒一塊錢的冰棒，連水泥廠也搬走了!

現在我也做太太和媽媽了。想起小時候，給我

有很多的懷念，甚麼東西都可以改變，

但是我最憂愁的是連我講的母語---客家話

海陸腔就會斷層了，所以我辭掉頭路，

全心全意加入本土語言，客語

教學的行列，盡我一分力量，

繼續傳承爺娘講的語言。

這是我這一代人，

應該要盡的義務，也是一份需要傳承的責任。
