今年個春节個辰光，吾到外婆头去挑菜
吾阿婆房子後頭有塊地
地上有個點馬蘭頭，有點番瓜
扁豆，还有棵桃子树
这棵桃子树拨外婆种了三四年有得，一个桃子啊勿不长個。
桃子树下脚么有两棵南瓜
外婆担怕箇两棵番瓜拨人家
偷脱喽，拿两片叶子遮遮噢
后首来，吾啊去摘马兰头的辰光还是拨偷脱唻
中饭里模样么我搭我弟弟一道去采马兰头
我弟弟在马兰地里跑来跑去跑喽踏
踏来踏去，马兰头全部被伊踏坏了
外婆肉麻煞，想想看么，小人么不懂事体喽，随随（乎）么好待
回家箇辰光么伢拿着两大袋马兰头回家去烧
先摆拉水里氽来滚，那么摆点
摆点蚝油，摆点盐喽糖
拌拌，烧烧吃呼的，吃呼的吃呼的来期多喽，烧烧么别得一点点
想想看真不值得哎，但是
但是，辛苦算辛苦喽

也蛮好吃哦
今年春天的时候我到我外婆家去拣菜
我外婆家房子后面有块地
地里有点马兰头，有点南瓜
扁豆，还有棵桃子树
这棵桃子树我外婆种了三四年了 一个桃子都没有长
桃子树下面有两棵南瓜
我外婆怕这两棵南瓜被人家偷走
用几片叶子遮住
后来我们去摘马兰头的时候还是被偷走了
大概吃中饭的时候我和我弟弟一起去采马兰头
我弟弟在马兰头地里跑来跑去
踩来踩去，这块地里的马兰头都被他踩坏了
外婆么心疼死（马兰头），想想看，小孩子不懂事，马马虎虎算了
回去的时候，我们拿着两大袋马兰头回去烧
先放在水里氽熟，然后放点
放点蚝油，放点盐和糖
拌拌，烧烧吃了下去，拿回来的时候多，烧烧只有一点点
想想看真是不值得，但是
但是，辛苦算辛苦

This spring I went to my grandma‘s to help sort vegetables.
There was a piece of land behind my grandma‘s house.
Planted there was some Malantou, pumpkins
beans, and a peach tree.
The tree had been grown for three or four years, but had never borne a single peach.
Under the tree were two pumpkins
My grandma was afraid that they would be stolen
so she covered them with some leaves.
Nevertheless, later when we went gathering Malantou, the two pumpkins were still stolen.
During lunchtime, my younger brother and I went gathering Malantou together.
My brother ran back and forth in the field,
trampled on the Malantou, and ruined all.
My grandma felt extreme pity for the Malantou, but still let it go since children were not able to tell right from wrong.
We took two big bags of Malantou back to cook.
We first boiled it,
and then added some oyster sauce, salt, and sugar with it.
After blending and cooking the dish, we ate it. Though it seemed to be a large load when we took it back, it became very little after being cooked.
We thought it was really not worth it,
but even though it had been a hard time,
um...
does it taste good?
...um...
it was quite good.
